Lightweight Tarps

We build up to an expectation of usefulness and durability rather than down to a price point.  There are four areas of quality that we focus on in our lighweight tarps.

Design - Our flat tarps have a lot of stake loops / guyouts to give you tons of options in pitching.  

Craftsmanship - We are lucky to own our production, and to employ some fabulous sewers...some with 40+ years experience.  We are very good at sewing, and it shows when you look at our gear.  Controlling our production allows us to focus on quality rather than penny pinching.

Materials - We use the best materials we can source.  Our silnylon is Cordura Ripstop 30D, double coated, and specs at 3000-4000 mm hydrostatic head.  Our Sage Green fabric is the same but has some PU mixed into the coating to improve performance in sandy areas.  

Silnylon Tarps

Silnylon tarps are durable, lightweight, and very waterproof.  They pack up small and have some inherent stretch to increase poor weather performance.  Tarps are a great "what-if" addition to your pack as a sunshade, glassing shelter, windbreak, emergency shelter, or a dedicated tarp tent.
