    OVERVIEW:

    Like your floorless tipi but occasionally need more protection during the buggy season or on trips with the family?

    This half nest fully insulates one half of an 8 person tipi from ground moisture, bugs, and critters. Provides a half floor with 4"+ sidewalls and full netting up to just below the peak of the tent. Stake out loops match the stake positions on the host tent, and the peak of the nest is tied up to the center pole. Will provide some of the moisture protection and heat retention of a liner, but a half liner can be installed in the same half as the nest as well.

    While two half nests could be pitched inside the same tipi there would be no space between them to enter the nests and we do not recommend this.

    The floor is made from HyperD PU 4000 40D. A 40 Denier nylon ripstop fabric with a 4000 MM hydrostatic head. This fabric is a terrific balance of durability, weight and long term waterproofing. This provides better long term waterproofing and abrasion than a 30D sil fabric and lower weight and pack size than a 70D PU fabric.
