    OVERVIEW:

The Sunlight is a lightweight 2-person trekking pole shelter that combines the floor, canopy, and netting into a single unit. This is a lightweight backpacking tent with dual entrances and dual vestibules that comfortably sleeps two grown men (it's a true two person).

Made from durable 30D cordura spec silicone coated nylon, the double-sided silicone coating on the Sunlight's canopy offers excellent waterproof protection with a 3000mm hydrostatic head. In addition, the zippered interior features extra zipper pulls to double the lifespan of the zipper.

Designed for two people, it features double entry interior zippers for easy access. The dual zipper-less vestibules on each end provide ample storm coverage for your gear.

The Sunlight is perfect for those who want a lightweight, easy-to-set-up, and durable 3-season tent.

Due to the larger vestibules, the Sunlight is an excellent choice for bikepacking

    From the review:

All the testers for this tent were effusive in their praise. “Easiest trekking pole tent to set up I have ever experienced,” said Helmuth. While the Seek Outside Sunlight is noticeably more expensive than the Gossamer Gear The Two, which has a similar silhouette, there are several reasons to choose this version. First off, this tent has incredible interior space, by far the most of any two-person tent we looked at Two large and tall individuals will easily fit inside this tent without feeling overcrowded.

I also appreciated a unique feature, where a sliding toggle on the middle edge of each vestibule allowed you to easily access the zipped mesh door. “So simple and fun,” noted Helmuth. “Why aren’t all tents like this?”

“It felt homey, spacious, and super storm-worthy,” she noted. Robinson, who tested it on the final night when we were camped in muggy conditions near a pond, reported no condensation.

    PITCHING:

    SEAM SEALING:

For best results we recommend seam sealing your tent.  You can do it at home or have us do it for you (adds up to one week)(if we seal the shelter it will be shipped without extra tubes of sealant):

    • We send our shelters with enough seam sealer to seal the entire shelter.
    • Pitch the shelter normally and seal the outside seams.
    • The easy way to seal is to run a thin bead of sealant along the seam, then press it in with a finger, wiping the excess on a paper towel.
    • Alternatively, you can use an acid brush from a hardware store to spread the sealant.

     COMES WITH:

    • Shelter canopy
    • 8 stakes
    • Stuff Sack
    • Seam Sealer (if you don't have us seam seal it)
    • Does not come with poles.  This shelter is intended to pitch with two 120 to 130 cm trekking poles.
    • 50 ft Atwood reflective cordage
