We think this review is great. It shows that great gear really transcends activities. While most people think backpack hunting in the west may be the most extreme use, this ads in Ice, Snow, Glaciers and starts out heavier. For the record, we hear from a lot of mountaineers on how well this works on expeditions such as Denali and Aconcagua. This spring, a lot of order comments say needed for Denali. A big thanks to the reviewer, and it's great that the reviewer is so knowledgable on packs as well.

This is a very favorable review. We do not believe this tent gets enough love. It is sizable, handles condensation well, is super easy to pitch and performs very well in poor weather. These are all validated in this review.

The Silex, can do a lot of things well. It's a hard shelter to beat, when you need to pitch in a small space.
