The Merlin: A True Day Pack 

The Merlin serves as the perfect companion for shorter excursions, from hiking trails to holding fishing gear. Its compact design and thoughtful organization make it great for short day trips. The merlin is capable of carrying a water bladder, and it can be attached as a Talon to any Seek Outside pack. 

The Merlin's genius lies in its adaptability. Not only is it a true day pack, but it can also attach seamlessly to any other pack and be used as a Talon.

Silverton 2300

New for 2024, the Silverton 2300 cubic inch (~38L) pack is Seek Outside's newest, and first, of an all new backpacking line. Designed to be a great day pack, quick overnight pack, or every day carry pack, this Silverton has more features - with less complexity - than our standard pack line. We wanted to design a "Grab-and-go" lightweight pack that can be used without needing to adjust harness, frame height, or belt fit for comfortable carry. 

One notable feature is the removable interior frame sheet, a departure from our typical aluminum tube frame. This addition offers added rigidity to the pack, while still providing the option for users to remove it for increased vertical compression.

We also wanted to design this pack to be compatible to our revolution supension, so the Silverton can be used like a talon or awkward load hauler. This pack is constructed from the finest materials we can source: ultragrid 210d for the main body, and ultrastretch self compressing material for the pockets. After testing mutliple material types, we concluded that ultragrid and ultrastretch live up to Seek Outside's long standing tradition of ultralight and ultradurable products.
