The Kodiak is a comfortable size and the temp rating covers early season to late season in the mountains. The build quality on the Kodiak is extremely good, and it is Made In the USA.  The Kodiak is the cold weather bag of choice among our staff.

This bag comes from Western Mountaineering's Microfiber series, meaning the outer material is a 20 denier with a hydrostatic head (waterproofness) rating of 2000 mm.  Microfiber is very waterproof for a sleeping bag material, and has great breathability.
