Using ct2e.08 Dyneema fabric, this tent handles rough weather well.  Understand that Dyneema performs differently than our standard Silnylon shelters.  Silnylon has some stretch inherent to the fabric while Dyneema does not.  In high winds, Dyneema will stress stakes, pole, stitching, and guyouts more, while Silnylon acts as a shock absorber.  Dyneema's lack of stretch allows it to shed snow better than Silnylon.  If embers land on Dyneema it will leave a bigger blemish than on Silnylon, but Dyneema is also easier to patch and repair than Silnylon is.  In short, Dyneema is a fantastic fabric that has some stark differences from our standard fabrics.  Overall, Dyneema delivers very good weather performance at a huge decrease in weight, and a large increase in cost.
