The Revolution frame puts enjoyment back into spending time under heavy loads. The new adjustable/removable load shelf is icing on the cake and well executed.

    Revolution Suspention

Love this pack. Makes it fun to haul weight.

I now feel like I can push myself physically when packing a load. With my old pack it was how much pain I was willing to endure that limited me, not what I was physically capable of.

I first used a friends Seek outside pack last fall packing an elk out. I used my old pack the first day and hauled about 80lbs of meat and could not keep it from moving on my back. I rubbed two large hot spot through the skin on my lower back and still have the scares to remember my other old pack of a different brand.(That cost more to buy than this one).

The second day my friend loaned me a Seek outside Revolution Pack to haul the rest of the meat and camp out. I thought I had a lighter load that day, but we weighed it once we were home and it was 105lbs. That 105lbs carried much better than my old pack with 80lbs.

I finally bought myself a Revolution suspension system and Merlin Daypack and have been loving this combo. Its so light and simple its a great day pack and I don't have to make a trip back the the truck for a pack frame if I kill something. I've never had a pack that I enjoy hunting in and packing meat with.

Excited to buy another one for my wife/pack mule friends to try.

This is more comfy than my PJs

Posted by Kyle on 26th Sep 2017

After trying two other top line manufacturer's frames, I talked with Kevin and decided to give the Revolution a shot. It is heads a tails, and probably even toes, more comfortable than the other two with minimal effort going into adjusting it to fit my torso. The suspension hugs your back and moves with you so that it feels like the load is a part of your rather than strapped onto you. The hip belt is drastically more comfortable, and with the addition of the lumbar pad for me, never needs re-adjusting or moving around. I have run this with a captured belt, and with the belt floating in all three settings, and cannot make it uncomfortable. I trained with 80lbs of rock salt for 3-4 months walking 9 miles to work and then home most days of the week, and nary a hot spot, or muscle cramp at anytime. In the field the articulation of the suspension shines and left me wondering if I had forgot to load my pack. I work in the textile industry at a well known wall tent manufacturer, and the construction of the suspension was clearly sewn together with lots of care and love. I can't find any thing in the construction that is not as close to perfect as can be.

    Solid product. Some minor flaws.

Posted by Douglas on 30th Jul 2017

This product is as advertised: an excellent pack frame. I am an admittedly critical reviewer, so I have some feedback on how to make this suspension better.

One observation I made is that the frame and frame extenders have clamp marks (rough spots on the metal frame) from the manufacturing process. The 4" aluminum frame extenders also have ends that are not cut evenly and have rough edges. With a premium product like the Revolution Suspension, I expect greater attention to detail in the manufacturing and quality assurance processes.

I am not a fan of the double clip on the waist belt. I traded out the two clips for the single belt buckle. I would prefer to see a single web strap for the waist belt buckle with a pull forward cinch. The current set-up works, but it is not my ideal.

Overall, this is a great suspension, and I hope to see continued improvement in future iterations.

    Great Base

I changed my evo to a revo. I can say the changes have been well worth the money for me.
The v cut at the top of Revo an added articulation has been great.
Keep up the good work and improvements.
